In the 90s, in advance of the reform of the Law of Civil Procedure (Law 1 / 2,000), the first law that introduces the figure of the Specialized Entity, LEGAL AUCTIONS held numerous meetings with the different Deans of the Courts of Madrid , (Mrs. Manuela Carmena Castrillo (now Mayor of Madrid), Mr. Fernando Fernández Martin (qepd) and Mr. José Luis González Armengol, with different Secretaries of State of Justice and with illustrious jurists, at that time, with the necessary reform of said Law of Civil Procedure.

It was based on the premise that it was essential that the private initiative provide added value in the judicial proceedings for the execution of seized assets, and that, among other factors, the sale or auction of these was not limited to an edict announcing auctions in a cork board at the door of the Spanish courts.

As a result of those meetings and the efforts of all, it was like, finally, the Legislator proposed the incorporation of the figure of the Specialized Entity in its articles (Article 641 of the Law).
